Obviously if you want to use "all the current PC hardware and software"
you will have to run Windows. But how can you possibly afford to buy all
that software? The glamorous programs are extremely expensive.
It always looks as though the grass is greener elsewhere.
Do you really want to get sucked into Windows XP?
Amithlon looks promising, if you want PC hardware.
